Kitbasher ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application for scale modelling hobbyists, developed by Ginger Ninja Developments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

• Account information — your email address, display name, and profile photo, provided during registration or imported from your Google account (Google Sign-In) or Apple ID (Sign in with Apple) if you use those options.
• User-generated content — workbench projects and photos, stash items, display cabinet entries, feed posts, comments, and for-sale listings that you create within the app.
• Subscription and purchase data — details of any in-app subscriptions you purchase, processed through Google Play Billing (Android), the App Store (iOS), and RevenueCat.
• Push notification token — a device identifier used to deliver notifications you've opted into, such as group build phase changes and judging reminders.
• Device and usage information — basic device information and app usage data collected automatically by Firebase services (e.g. app version, platform).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Kitbasher app and its features.
• To display your profile, projects, and content to other users of the community.
• To manage your membership and subscription status.
• To send you in-app announcements and, if enabled, push notifications relevant to the community (e.g. group build updates and judging reminders).
• To improve the app and diagnose technical issues.

3. Information Shared With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the app:

Each provider processes only the data necessary to deliver their service and is bound by their own privacy policies.

4. Public Content

Content you post publicly — including feed posts, project updates, display cabinet entries, and for-sale listings — is visible to all users of the app. Your display name and profile photo are shown alongside your public content. Please do not include sensitive personal information in public posts or listings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information and content within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations.

6. Children's Privacy

Kitbasher is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
